Moisture-Activated Bonding for Porous and Non-Porous Substrates

Water based adhesives are being used more and more as a replacement for solvent-based products because they are environmentally safe and do not contain Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). Applied as an emulsion (mixture of two or more liquids that are normally non-mixable) the liquids are converted to an adhesive when the water evaporates.

Water-based liquid resin glues are made of vinyl acetate, ethylene vinyl acetate and acrylic resin emulsion polymers. These resin emulsion polymers offer a broad range of adhesion and wet tack to a wide range of substrates.
